Wheaton Clubs
Welcome to the Wheaton Club's page! Scroll down to learn about all of the amazing clubs that Wheaton has to offer! We will be regularly updating this page to reflect the clubs we have for the 2022-2023 school year.

East African Student Association
Open to anyone who is interested, EASA meets weekly to discuss topics of interest and current events. In the past, the club has done fundraising for charities in African countries. Club members also prepare and preform dances at Wheaton HS's international night. The club has also hosted guest speakers.


International Club
Wheaton High School International Club's purpose is to promote cultural awareness within our school and community and to provide a place in wich students of Wheaton's diverse cultures can come together for fun, service projects and learning. We feel it is important for our students to celebrate their common bond as immigrants to this country.


It's Academic
It's Academic is a team trivia competition. Teams of 3-4 students compete against other schools in questions ranging from everyday events to books and novels to war and history to myth to legend. In addition, our team has appeared for the past several years on NBC4 as we take part in the "It's Academic!" Television Competition.



Music Tech Club
Open to all students who would like to make music using the MacLab computers and pianos.
Muslim Student Association
An open space for Islamic students and non-Islamic students to collaborate and discuss issues of Islam, regardless of personal religious persuasion to dispel biases and perceptions.

National Art Honor Society
Members can earn an academic honor, graduate with an honor cord and earn SSL hours by participating in any NAHS meetings, events or using art skills to give back to the community. Anyone who has a B or higher in a current or previous high school are class can earn the honor maintaining that average in any art class they are currently enrolled in and by completing 10 or more art related community service hours.


National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE)
The Wheaton High School of NSBE Jr. is a student led extracurricular activity that engages under-represented groups in STEM activities, encourages teamwork, builds relationships, and fosters leadership skills.

Rainbow Alliance
The Rainbow Alliance is an organization that provides for the concerns and interests of the LGBTQIA+ (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, queer) and allied community. This organization, which fosters an atmosphere of awareness and acceptance of all individuals, will provide the Wheaton High School community with the means to accomplish these goals. We, as members of Wheaton High School, will work to ensure that all people, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression, will be provided with an experience of equality, without prejudice, persecution, or intolerance.
Robotics Team
Each year, the team designs, builds and competes with a robot as part of the FIRST Robotics Competition. The weekly schedule varies throughout the year. Please contact Mr. Scott for details.


SAT Prep Club
Help students to study and do well on the SAT.

SGA
Student Government's main focus is to help facilitate student & staff relations, to ensure that student concerns and needs are resolved, and to oversee student clubs and other activities. We organize school-wide events, like Homecoming & strive to continuously improve the school culture & spirit of Wheaton High School.
